Jeans arrived within couple of days. Fits really good. Just got to get use to pressure of knee guards while walking against knee.. Haven’t tried on bike yet or falling off🤞
Good fit and quite comfortable.
The finish quality is quite ordinary, lots of loose threads and stitching. Not bad enough to return, however needed to be fixed before use.
After 30 or 40 years of textile jackets I've given the Camino TFL Cool-Tec a try.
What you get:
- Leather jacket, made in I.R.P. according to the label (which I assume is Islamic Republic of Pakistan).
- Cool weather liner.
- Level 2 shoulder and elbow armour.
What you don't get:
- Pockets! There are only two external pockets and one inner pocket (mobile phone size - the cool weather liner also has a mobile phone pocket). The two zips on the upper front of the jacket are openings for air vents (with two corresponding vertical vents on the back of the jacket). So if, like me, you are accustomed to lots of pockets you'll have to find somewhere else for the spare earplugs, spare keys, the wet weather over-gloves, the visor-wiping cloth and all the other junk that found a home in your old jacket. Probably the only thing I'll really miss is the clip on a ribbon sewn into the DriRider jacket that was useful for ensuring the keys never fell out.
Fit:
- According to the sizing chart I should have fitted into a size Medium jacket (100cm chest, 86cm (34") waist, but it was too tight all around even with the cool weather liner removed. The next size up (Large) fits fine.
- I'm in the habit of riding with a Forcefield Pro Shirt with shoulder & elbow armour, chest & back protector so the liner and armour came out straight away. Everything fits even with the cool weather liner fitted.
Exchange:
- The exchange process for the correct size jacket was smooth enough. Details were input online and a return label was emailed. The M jacket was packed back into the packaging it came in, the label attached, then posted back. The replacement jacket arrived a week or so later (after one email reminder).
First couple of rides (350k or so through the Adelaide Hills early October):
- The jacket is comfortable. It is advertised as a leather jacket for warm to hot weather - it remains to be seen it the Cool-Tec coating works as advertised (I have no idea how to assess this short of putting a thermometer in the mobile phone pocket, taking a temp reading, and borrowing someone else's leather jacket and doing the same straight away).
- The zippered air vents front and back work to allow air to flow through.
- Small perforations on the sleeves allow for a bit more air flow, so if encountering some rain during a ride either pull out a rain jacket or expect to water inside the sleeves pretty quickly.
Assessment:
- I'm happy with this jacket. Comfortable, cool-ish, looks good. Appears to be well made. But I'll miss the sewn-in key clip. Now it's time for a ride.
I love these jeans. They fit well, look great and as a new rider, I really appreciate their AAA protection rating!

I’ve had many different brands of jeans for riding and these are the most comfortable I’ve had. I can wear them all day at work and back on the bike more comfortably then regular jeans. Why wouldn’t you buy them, great value for aaa rated jeans.
The jeans are comfortable and fit well. They are roomy when on the bike and fit well over my boots.

Really happy with the Braxton Kevlar Motorcycle Jeans. They fit true to size and the fit is perfect for me. The stretch in the jeans makes them really comfortable and gives you plenty of movement without feeling loose.
They’re not too heavy or bulky, and I could honestly wear them all day. The colour is great too.

I was not sure about ordering these online as sizing clothes online is a bit hit n miss.
My regular size is 38 short & these are a good fit but just a little loose (better than tight). With a belt they are fine.
The only reason I did not give 5 stars was due to the knee armor, for me it sits a little low even at the top of the pocket, It should work ok, just looks a little bulky when walking around.
I will probably purchase a pair of Regular now I know the fit will not be too tight.
Very happy with these jeans so far. They’ve got a nice heavy weight to them which feels reassuring when riding, but they’re still comfortable enough to wear around town if I’m riding out to dinner or to an event. The fit was true to my usual size, and the material has just the right amount of stretch to not obstruct any movements, which is something I usually really struggle to find with any jeans in general let alone riding jeans. Good length options too. I also really appreciate the flexible protective inserts - they are a lot more pleasant and non-intrusive than the solid chucks of rubber that I have and removed from other cheaper brands in the past. Overall really pleased with them.
Was sceptical about buying without trying on first, but rolled the dice and ordered some. As other reviews mentioned, fit is true to size and very comfortable. Highly recommend!
These motorcycle jeans are a quality product at a reasonable price. They are comfortable to wear and appear to be capable of providing adequate protection when required. The seller is quick to resolve problems should they arise.

Great company to deal with. My first pair of the braxton jeans were too long in the leg. The exchange was easy and free. I now have a pair that fit perfectly. Such good quality. Delivery on the exchange pair was a little slow but I’m still happy.
These are the most comfortable pants I own, not just motorcycle but in general.
I have forgotten I am wearing them on a number of occasions but the fact they just look like regular jeans means I can ware them any ware and not look out of place. Highly recommend.

Bought the shortest length (28) and still too long but can adjust the amour to sit correctly on my knees so that is a major plus.
They had a terrible smell upon opening but after washing that has gone. Bought my usual size and they fit perfectly. Love the adjustable waist, it will come in handy with weight fluctuations.
I got my pair of these riding jeans after a size swap that was really fast. I ordered a size too large at first and the swap was easy. Just go with your Levi’s or whatever jean size. Don’t use a measuring tape. That’s what worked for me. The jeans are really sturdy and well made, very comfortable and the armor isn’t as bulky as other jeans I’ve tried and they look good on. Not as hot to wear as others and I reckon they’ll out last my other pair as well.
Would definitely buy again.

These are fantastic. Amazing fit and comfortable. Felt a little snug to start but after wearing around the house for half hour, they felt great.
I am normally a size 14 and purchased the 14. Length is great too
